Effective as of May 1st, 2023

Every Ohku product and partner product is supported by a warranty, as explained below:

Warranty against defects
Ohku offers a Limited Warranty for three (3) years specifically for the wood fired heater: Wood Fired Heater Warranty

Ohku offers a Limited Warranty against defects in material and workmanship, for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Ohku offers product replacement, and will provide component or part replacement as defined by the warranty terms in this document. Installation of replacement parts is not the responsibility of Ohku and must be replaced by a professional at the expense of the warranty holder.

Please ensure that you retain your receipt as this document will be necessary for you to exercise your warranty rights.

Warranty coverage
The Warranty outlined here only applies to products manufactured by or for Ohku that can be identified by the Ohku trademark or logo affixed to them. Ohku warrants each of the Ohku products against defects in materials or workmanship (“defects”) for the Warranty Period of one year computed from the date of receipt of the product by the purchaser (“Warranty”).

Exclusions
The Warranty does not apply to any non-Ohku product. Specifically, Ohku does not offer any warranty on the concrete tub.

Warranty for the concrete tub is covered for one (1) year by Concretti Design LLC.

Others exclusions include:
Defects that come from normal wear and tear;
Defects caused by accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, misapplication, or non-Ohku products;
Defects caused by exposure to extreme natural conditions, liquids, or gases;
Defects caused by handling by third parties (such as delivery services, etc.);
Defects caused by service (including repairs) performed by anyone other than a Ohku authorized representative;
Defect caused by a modification of a product without Ohku’s permission;

Limitation of warranty
THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OHKU SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

OHKU DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPLACE OR REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY THAT MEETS ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT.

The Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other legal rights depending on the state in which you reside. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties, some of the above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. In such states, Ohku’s warranty is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable state law.

This Warranty is only extended to the original purchaser or gift recipient of a product.

Limitation of damages
OHKU IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (SUCH AS LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, ETC.), OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE, CAUSED BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions, thus the above exclusions may not apply to you.

How to obtain warranty service
If you detect a defect in your Ohku product or Ohku partner product purchase from Ohku, LLC, during the applicable Warranty Period, you should contact our Customer Service Department, as indicated in How to Contact Us section below, for a replacement of your product and / or assistance in obtaining your warranty with Concretti Design LLC.
